Went out this afternoon to see if anything would bite midday, and boy did I get a pleasant surprise! Caught a 25 inch, 5 pound walleye - might be the catch of the month! Got him in about 15 feet of water on a football head jig. Needless to say, I was happy with the afternoon fishing today.
