Had a split day trip with a father and son from KC today. They wanted to get some fishing in together before school starts. We had a RIDICULOUS topwater bite this morning. Had two fish on the same lure at one point. Went back to the traditional techniques tonight and found a few walleye and some keeper bass for their dinner.
