Beautiful weather this morning out on the lake. Upper 60s early pushing into the mid-70s. Tried for some smallmouth this morning and had some success throwing an 1/8 oz. shaky head jig with a pumpkin colored crawdad with chartreuse claws. Caught most of them on shallow gravel points in 6-10 feet of water. Catching smallmouth is always a good time!

Awesome trip this morning with repeat clients, Bill and Jim, before the heat kicked in. Good variety of bass and walleye with nearly 40 fish in just a few hours!
