Went out this morning with a buddy of mine. We were on the water early and started with topwater lures before the sun came up, then switched over to jigs, and ended the morning with topwater again. Caught 3 smallmouth, 4 nice largemouth (including a 3 pounder), and a small crappie! Always a good sign to see the crappie becoming active again.
