Ahhhhhh finally - smallie season is upon us at long last! A lot has changed since my last post including many inches of rain and a 10' rise in lake level in the last 72 hours! Fortunately, the fish seem to like it and have started to behave a little better - thank goodness! Took Jackson and Tucker out this morning to prefish for the NYFA tomorrow. Had a solid bag of smallmouth for about 12#. I am sure they will excel during tournament time tomorrow! Picked up a last minute trip with Steve and the boys this afternoon. Lots of learning and instruction yielded some awesome fish! Had to work hard for them with the sunny/calm conditions, but they stuck with it and caught 'em!
