Went up the James River with a buddy of mine today to chase crappie. Seemed like everyone was out on the water - they must know this will be the last nice day for a while. Forecast is calling for rain for the next 10 days...oh well. Can't do much about that. Had seven white crappie today and missed a few more. Saw water temps as high as 54 degrees. Definitely aren't going crazy yet, but they are getting ready!
