We are officially into July! First morning of July was a grind - the fish made us work for it. Ended up with about 8 fish and lost about 5 more. Water is warming up quite a bit and the fish seem to be a little sluggish at the moment. We had a thunderstorm roll through this afternoon before my evening trip and boy did it ever help the fishing! The bite was terrific this evening - caught about 25 fish in 2 hours. All really nice spotted bass and one 10 lb channel catfish.
