Chilly this morning out on the water. Wind chills were in the 20s with a stiff 15-20 mph southwest wind. Warmed up in the afternoon, but it was definitely a bit nippy for a while. Started off along the bluffs and bluff ends and moved into the main and secondary points later in the morning. Fished submerged timber along the bluffs and standing/submerged timber on the points. The wind helped the swimbait bite quite a bit and I had five fish on the Jewel Gem Shad paired with a Keitech Fat Swing Impact 2.8. Tennessee Shad seemed to be my best color on the Keitech. Three keepers with a couple of shorts. All spotted bass. Look forward to getting out there again tomorrow!

Awesome trip this morning with repeat clients, Bill and Jim, before the heat kicked in. Good variety of bass and walleye with nearly 40 fish in just a few hours!
