Went out with a couple local fellas today to see what we could find. Bite was very tough - there wasn't a breath of wind for most of the day which definitely affected the bite. Bright bluebird skies and glassy water is a tough combo any day. We persevered though and ended the afternoon with about nine fish. Had a mixed bag of bass and one nice keeper walleye. Saw a lot of fish on the screen, just couldn't seem to trigger them into biting. Water temperature skyrocketed this afternoon to over 70 degrees in the creeks and pockets.
