Had some rain move through last night and this morning. The weather this afternoon looked promising (cloudy with a little breeze), so I went out on the lake to check it out and I'm sure glad I did. Took my younger brother and girlfriend out with me and we had a blast! Fished back in creek arms on flat gravel points and banks. Caught them on a Jewel Gem Shad with a Keitech 2.8 swimbait and a Jewel Pee Wee Football Jig. Had 13 fish total with over half being keepers. Caught a good mix of spotted and smallmouth bass. Smallmouth were BIG today with a 4 pound kicker fish.
